| Hand-Poured Lacquered Boxes Produced in North China, these boxes (and most of our other lacquer accessories) are crafted in the centuries-old tradition of hand-pouring multiple layers of lacquer. Only after several days and several layers does the craftsman achieve the final finish--a luxuriant patina that is both beautiful and scratch-resistant. Each box is needlepoint-ready and affords stitchers an unusual and relatively inexpensive option for display of their needlework. Color selections: Black, Cream, Light Blue, Blue, Burgundy, Purple, Red, Rose, Teal, Yellow, White, White with Black Trim, Blue Tulipwood, Green Tulipwood, and Red Tulipwood.
